Nov. 10, 2009 Manufacturing Optimization:Embracing Change
Keynote Speaker: The Honourable John Milloy, Minister of Research and Innovation, Government of Ontario, at University of Waterloo
Following on last years successful collaboration between McMaster University and University of Toronto, we are moving the conference to the University of Waterloo and partnering with WATCAR.
This years academic sponsors are McMaster University and University of Waterloo.
Our goal is to promote the value of innovation, technology and collaboration in manufacturing. This year, aerospace, automotive(E.V.), bio-medical, wind energy, and materials, engineering leaders present case studies of how their companies are using technology to tackle the manufacturing challenges of today and tomorrow.
Come meet your customers, suppliers, partners, and competitors. The conference objective is to promote increased profitability through innovation and collaboration.
Presentations of case studies from invited speakers shed light on current industry issues such as manufacturing with hard to machine material such as Beta-Alloy Titaniums, material formulation for ease of processing, materials in wind energy structures, electric vehicle manufacture, process automation and on-line sensors, robotics, optimization of machining processes, and advancements in processing technology and materials.
